On the morning dew of November 15th, we embarked on the company's carefully prepared annual travel journey. At the Shenzhen airport around four or five o'clock, although we were feeling a bit sleepy, our inner expectations had already bloomed like the dawn. Take flight DZ6245 and fly towards Xishuangbanna, which is full of mystery and charm, to explore the unique Dai culture on that land and feel the depth of the tropical rainforest and the charm of exotic customs.
1. Journey of the Soul: Cultural Exploration of Ancient Temples and Royal Palaces
The plane landed and we first took a bus to Manting Park, the oldest park in Xishuangbanna, which seems like a living history book. Strolling through it, the magnificent Dai King's Palace comes into view, and the ancient Dai cultural atmosphere fills the air. Every brick and every carving seems to be telling the glory and legend of the past.
In the afternoon, we arrived at the largest Southern Buddhist temple in China - Menglong Dafo Temple. Entering the temple gate, a sense of solemnity and solemnity of Hinayana Buddhist culture arises spontaneously. In the peacock release activity, the peacocks soar in the sky like magnificent elves, their graceful postures and spectacular scenes leaving us dazzled, and cheers resound one after another.
2. The Promise of Nature: Dancing with Elephants, Exploring the Forest
The next day's journey began with an intimate encounter with an Asian elephant. In Wild Elephant Valley, a gathering place for Asian elephants and a national AAAA level scenic spot, we observed these well behaved and intelligent big guys up close. Watching their adorable appearance, everyone interacted with the elephants and felt the beauty of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. In addition, we also visited the Orchid Garden, Butterfly Garden, Python Garden, and Lizard Garden, experiencing the wonders and diversity of nature. At noon, the specialty elephant meal immerses our taste buds in a unique culinary experience.
In the afternoon, the Primitive Forest Park welcomed us with over 98% forest coverage. This place is like a natural oxygen bar, where every breath is filled with freshness and vitality. In the valley rainforest, dense vegetation covers the sky and the sun, as if taking us into a mysterious green world; The scene of peacocks dancing is like a dream, with colorful peacocks shuttling through the forest, attracting people to stop and admire; The colorful folk song and dance performances have given us a deep understanding of the customs and traditions of the Dai ethnic group.
3. Night of Charm: Song and Dance Feast, Bonfire Carnival
As night fell, the "Golden Peacock Night - Mengbalanaxi" large-scale ethnic style singing and dancing bonfire party kicked off. This evening party, which gathered the essence of Xishuangbanna's national culture, was held by Sha Xiaolan, the opening ceremony team of the Beijing Olympic Games and the world-class master of lighting choreography, presenting us with a double feast of vision and hearing. The authentic ethnic bonfire party ignited everyone's enthusiasm. Everyone held hands and danced around the bonfire to their heart's content, with laughter and joy echoing in the night sky, becoming an unforgettable memory on the journey.
4. Plant Wonders: Tropical Botanical Garden and Dai Ethnic Garden
On the morning of the third day, we arrived at Menglun Botanical Garden, the only tropical botanical garden in China and an AAAAA level scenic spot. This is the kingdom of tropical plants, with thousands of species of tropical plants such as jumping grass, strangling tree, bloodthirsty throat tree, mysterious fruit tree, and king palm tree. We strolled through the park, as if walking into a vivid encyclopedia of plants, admiring the magnificent scenery of the Lancang River along the way and gaining a deep understanding of the customs and traditions of the Dai ethnic group.
