Journey to Zhangzhou, Fujian: Embark on enchanting islands and explore the charm of southern Fujian

1. Zhangzhou, Fujian

After more than three hours of driving, we successfully arrived at the charming land of Zhangzhou. After a brief rest, around 13:30, we took a bus to Daimei Ancient Village. Daimei Ancient Village, listed as the sixth batch of Chinese historical and cultural famous villages and the third batch of Chinese traditional villages, enjoys the reputation of "the first village in southern Fujian".

Entering the ancient village, the vast array of "Fujian style red brick buildings" is breathtaking, with as many as 276 of them resembling a frozen historical scroll. Among them, 49 were first built during the Ming and Qing dynasties, leaving deep marks on each red brick with the traces of time, making people feel as if they have traveled back to that ancient era and experienced the wisdom and diligence of the Fujian ancestors.

After visiting the ancient village, it quietly arrived around 4 pm in the afternoon, and we returned to the ancient city of Zhangzhou. This is the center of bustling commerce and a place where food and culture blend together. We can't wait to taste the special snacks of Zhangzhou. A bottle of Sugar cane juice with Pienze Huang Cao added to it is sweet and has a unique herbal aroma; Tired and thirsty from strolling, have a bowl of Four Fruit Soup, where a variety of fruits collide with the refreshing broth to create a wonderful taste; If you're hungry, a hand grabbed noodle dish instantly satisfies your taste buds.

2. Volcano Island - Dongshan Island

The next morning, we arrived at the Volcano Island Natural Ecological Scenic Area. There, from a distance, you can see the "Volcano Castle". The medieval style European castle and the blue sea and sky complement each other, creating a stunning scene. It elevates the temperament of the volcanic island to a noble and mysterious realm, undoubtedly making it an excellent place for everyone to take photos. At noon, a sumptuous seafood Chinese meal allowed us to feast our mouths. Various delicious seafood dishes were placed on the table, and we enjoyed the gifts of the sea to the fullest.

In the afternoon, we headed to Dongshan Island, which has a unique southern coastal scenery. The seawater here is crystal clear, the purest shade of blue on the coast of the East China Sea; The bay winds and twists, like a beautifully crafted painting of nature; The original island scenery is particularly charming, captivating people at first glance and making us instantly understand why the movie 'Left Ear' chose to shoot here.

In addition to enjoying the scenery, colleagues from the company started a fun fishing activity along the coast of Dongshan Island. The gentle sea breeze, with a hint of saltiness, stirred everyone's interest. Later, we boarded a fishing boat and headed to the sea for the fish rafts. During the voyage, the captain skillfully harvested gifts from the sea from cages that had been prepared the day before, and demonstrated his exquisite fishing skills on site. The ingredients in each crab cage were then processed on site. When fresh seafood was served, the original and delicious flavor spread out on our tongues, allowing us to truly feel the generosity and enthusiasm of the sea.

Saying goodbye to the fish fillet, we arrived at the renowned 'Eastern Hawaii' in Maluan Bay. During the day, the sun shines on the golden beach, and everyone enjoys sunbathing to the fullest. Looking up, the blue sky, white clouds, beach, and waves intertwine, forming a picturesque scenery.

In the evening, the sun gradually sets in the west, like a ripe giant persimmon, hanging heavily above the sea level. Its full and rounded contours are outlined extremely clearly, with soft light spreading from the center to the surroundings. The entire Maluan Bay is immersed in a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, with only a few fishing boats in the distance quietly moored on the sea surface, swaying gently with the gentle waves.

3. Fengdong Stone - Nanmen Bay - Sufeng Mountain

On the morning of the third day, Fengdong Stone Scenic Area became our destination. The scenic area is centered around the Guandi Temple in Tongling, and the famous Fengdong Stone Statue is a magical magician who attracts people's attention with his ingenious posture. In the ancient city of Tongshan, cultural relics such as Baozhi Temple, Chenghuang Temple, Wengong Temple, and the former residence of Huang Daozhou are like bright pearls, emitting the glory of history and culture; The newly built scenic spots such as Diao Ao Tai, Shi Sengbai Ta, Hu Ge Di Yu, Bei Lang, and Mu Zhan Dao have added a touch of modern vitality and dynamism to the scenic area.

Slowly climb up along the ancient street and climb up to the Nanming Academy Wen Gong Temple, where the beautiful scenery of "watching Tianchi from Wen Gong's seat" can be seen in full view. The sea across from the academy shimmers like a huge mirror, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, mountains, and islands in the sunlight. Looking far away from the railing, the sea breeze brushes gently, and a sense of awe and admiration for nature surges in my heart, as if I have also immersed myself in this ink painting.

In the afternoon, Nanmen Bay and Sufeng Mountain Ring Road became the last check-in points. Nanmen Bay is famous for its poem "Left Ear". Under the sunshine, the bay shimmers with ripples, and the footprints on the beach are like poems left by time. Sufeng Mountain is majestic and spectacular, standing between Jinluan Bay and Wujiao Bay. There are numerous historical sites on the mountain, and the comprehensive greenway around the mountain is like a winding ribbon, connecting the beautiful scenery one by one. Strolling along the greenway, one side is surrounded by green mountains and trees, while the other side is surrounded by blue sea and sky. The scenery is breathtaking, step by step.
