Precautions related to the use of digital voltmeter
The digital voltmeter uses advanced microprocessor for intelligent control and accurately measures input current and voltage signals. After CPU operation and processing, it is clearly and intuitively displayed through high-brightness LED digital tubes or high-resolution lamp posts, with optional serial communication function. In addition, the instrument also has two passive alarm contact outputs (upper limit and lower limit), and the alarm value can be set arbitrarily. Some instruments also have analog signal output interfaces to facilitate connection with remote RTUs. Digital display voltmeter has the following functions and features:
1. The full-scale display value, upper and lower limit alarm values and communication address can be set arbitrarily through the buttons on the panel. It is very flexible and convenient to use.
2. Optional analog transmission output, 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 4-12-20mA, 0-5V and 1-5V
3. Two alarm outputs can be selected to monitor the upper and lower limits of the measurement parameters
4. RS485 digital interface is optional, using standard MODBUS-RTU protocol
5. It uses direct AC RMS effective value measurement, digital zero point calibration, and digital adjustment, with high accuracy and high cost performance.
6. All instrument parameters can be set through the display panel
Notes related to using a digital display voltmeter:
1. Suitable for use with ambient temperature 0~50℃ and humidity below 85% to prevent adverse phenomena caused by temperature changes.
2. Pay attention to prevent vibration and shock
3. Do not use it in places with dust, chemicals and gases harmful to electrical products
4. If the voltage is abnormal due to magnetic fields or high-frequency instruments, high-voltage sparks, lightning, etc., please use a power line filter or non-linear resistor to absorb external interference.
5. The input signal line should be as short as possible. Use protective shielded wire where interfering signals may be mixed. Generally, it is recommended to use twisted pair cable. Furthermore, a digital voltmeter is an instrument that converts the measured voltage value into digital form and represents it in digital form through an analog-to-digital converter. Therefore, when the voltage is abnormal due to magnetic fields or high-frequency instruments, high-voltage sparks, lightning, etc., please use a power line filter or non-linear resistor to absorb the circuit from external interference.
